About The PM Company
The PM Company is a family-owned and operated commercial real estate development company. While offering anything between real estate development, management, and services, they keep a focus on their social responsibilities and the needs of the community.
The business challenge
The PM Company has had their maintenance workers operating the same application for many years now, stitching in new functions and features as needed. Over time, these features, while usable, have created a less attractive user interface for the end user. The PM Company is ready to rehaul the application to use a newer technology stack with a newer UI and some brand-new features.
What we did
Paradynamix would rewrite the current application in the more modern tech stack, Vue. While current features and functions would be retained, the rest of the system would be put into a new framework that provides a fluid, responsive experience. This would make it easier than ever for onsite workers to log time and actions on work orders.
What happened
The PM Company is now running a new version of their application, with a totally rewritten user experience. The user interface is now a consistent presentation that reacts smoothly to user input and has refined some of the data entry, as requested by The PM Company. Using a custom-built framework based on the Vue technology stack, the Work Order Application has a smoother experience than ever. It is easy to select jobs, start time tracking, and switch jobs, all on their tablets. With an ongoing maintenance contract, as needs for changes or potential bug fixes come up, The PM Company has easy and ready access to a professional team to take care of the problem.
